Island Scholars will award scholarships to deserving students annually. We believe that a university education equips students with the tools to be significant contributors and leaders in their communities and country.

To qualify for a scholarship award, students must complete high school and be accepted for admission to university. In addition, applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Students must submit a scholarship application form, two letters of recommendation (at least one from a teacher), a statement of financial need, budget and a short essay. The essay should describe the applicant’s educational and career goals and state why he or she would be a suitable candidate for the scholarship award.

Applications are accepted from April 1st to June 30th each year. The scholarship committee will review applications and awards will be given by July 31st. DO NOT USE THE ENTER KEY WHEN COMPLETING THE APPLICATION.
